Oh, I don't miss editing at all! I'm loving getting stuck into the first draft of my new WIP. It feels so much more creative than editing. Writing is fun, but editing is hard work. Unfortunately, there's no way around it. ; )

I suspect I am an anomaly. I love editing!

But I also love the scary feeling (I am experiencing it right now) I get when I'm about to plunge back into my story.

(I read your profile & noticed you are from the UK. Hi!)

I think I need to train myself to enjoy editing and not dread it so much. But I can't help it - writing first drafts is just so much fun! I wish I could write first drafts forever and leave the editing to someone else!

Hee. I know quite a few people who feel this way!

As much as I love drafting, though, editing is the really fun part for me. When I'm not cursing it, that is ;-) I think it's the statistician in me-- I love working with it until it's just right.
