For someone who is currently in her sixteenth year of diary-keeping, I really hate writing "About Me" pages...

I’m a YA writer on the path to publication. According to last count, I own 2,460 books in an 1100 square-foot house that I also share with my husband and Great Dane. I grew up in a small town in Maryland with lots of fields and cows. I now live in Southwest Virginia where there are also many fields (but there seems to be less cows).

I have an MFA in Children's Literature from Hollins University and went to undergrad at Virginia Tech.
