Random Facts About Me

I might add to this later, but for now, here are some random facts, since my "About Me" kinda sucks.

1. I was not one of those children who know at age four that they should be a writer. At that age I wanted to be a paleontologist. After that, I wanted to be a ballerina, a photographer, a movie director, a make-up artist, a country music singer, a concert pianist, an actuary, a high school English teacher, an elementary school music teacher, and any number of things-- along with being a writer. Cause we all know writing is easy & can be done exclusively in spare time. Also, it is a quick way to make some extra money. [/sarcasm]

2. I am an Enneagram nerd & use it both IRL and to figure out my oft-confusing characters.

3. For some reason, I didn't realize I loved fantasy books until I read the first four Harry Potter books. Before that I'm not sure how I explained to myself my love of unicorns, ghosts, vampires & magic, but I never considered myself a fantasy fan.

4. My family is very close & we have a huge reunion every year with my grandmother's siblings & their children & grandchildren & great-grandchildren, etc. There's a golf tournament, horseshoe tournament & raffle.

5. I love Disney and thankfully, so does my husband. We went to Disney World for our honeymoon & own copious amounts of Eeyores. I'm currently drinking coffee from my Cinderella "I dreamt that my whole castle was clean" mug.

6. I'm incapable of driving without music playing.

7. I live in a 100+-year-old house and would love to one day buy a fully-restored (and updated, for the Hubby) Victorian manse (or really, just about anything built before 1955).

8. My undergraduate degree was in "Interdisciplinary Studies" and no one really knows what that means. Even me. But it was a really awesome program and I learned all sorts of cool stuff.
